I wanted to share with you the ideas I have for this site, to make it even better for you all. I know how difficult and often overwhelming learning a new skill can be.
And I want you to enjoy your organic gardening experience and grow the healthiest plants possible, after all Mother nature intended us to enjoy her beautiful gifts and I don’t view my kitchen garden as a chore…well sometimes maybe:)
So what have I got in store for you in 2010??
New year presents from the 2 Women on 2 Acres:
- How to guides. These will be FREE how to guides covering a wide variety of subjects. I will break each guide down into small target areas. This smaller focus will help prevent you becoming overwhelmed with information and will enable you to focus on one aspect of gardening. The first of these guides will cover ‘Fertiliser Teas’ and I will make them available in: PDF (this will have the text in different fonts and any photos), Plain Text (Will have plain text only – no photos) and Rich Text format (Will have the information in rich text and any photos). I would like some feed back on these formats and I would like to know if an audio version would be useful?
- New improved auto responder. I have switched my auto responder client and it will make sending and receiving your free weekly tips and product offers quicker and easier. You will be sent a subscriber e-mail which requires you to confirm you would still like to receive the weekly tips. When you receive the new e-mails you will be offered a choice of HTML or plain text. And as a gift for your trouble I would like to offer you a free gift in the form of a Organic Gardening Tips PDF or iPhone Organic Gardening Tips app this has all the current tips and facts in one place:).
- Introducing my own ‘Sow & Grow Organic Vegetables’ series. This is a series of books that I have written and researched covering each vegetable separately as a comprehensive guide. Inside it will contain the vegetables history, when to sow, how to prepare the vegetable bed soil, how to plant and covers any special or different planting options, when to harvest, pests and diseases, companions good or bad,how to preserve or store and how to save the seeds
- Garden Talk Radio.
- Podcasts/videos. I am going to pod cast what I do in my kitchen garden this will include what & how to look, see, hear your garden talking to you. It will also help you see what I see when I walk around my kitchen garden and introduce you to learning what to look for and how to appreciate your hard working efforts. It will also help indetify problems & work out solutions and lastly, it will help me explain jobs & the workings of the garden.
