I have to agree with you 100% on the use of natural products over pesticides. I like your concoction and will certainly give it a try this summer. We always have some difficulty with aphids and slugs mostly. Normaly we  just spray the aphids off with water or give the really bad leafs to the chickens, and the slugs are hand picked by the hundreds sometimes. I will take bugs over poison anyday though.
